Surinder completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Guru Nanak Dev University in India before gaining accreditation with the Australian Medical Council. He is also a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

He had extensive experience in Psychiatry, orthopaedics and rural health in India before relocating to Australia and working in Emergency Medicine in Ballarat and settling in Warrnambool in 2006.

Surinder has particular interests in Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, men’s health and minor procedures and has 10 years’ experience in Aboriginal health.

Dr Singh is multilingual and speaks fluent English, Punjabi and Hindi.

Cameron completed his medical degree with honours at Melbourne university. Since then, he has been committed to rural practice, working in South West Victoria and remote Australia since 2012.

Professionally, Cameron is a fellow of RACGP, ACRRM, ACRM and a diplomate of RANZCOG. Cameron is passionate about all areas of general practice, from paediatrics through to geriatrics.

His passion is lifestyle and preventative medicine, with an interest in dietary approaches to managing chronic diseases.

Dr Belinda Bell was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Newcastle in 2012. She went on to work as a junior doctor for Hunter New England Health.

Dr Bell moved to Warrnambool in 2015, where she completed studies to become a specialist generalist receiving her fellowship from RACGP in 2018.

Dr Bell works across both our Mortlake and Warrnambool branches and enjoys continuity of care in all aspects from birth to end of life.

Dr Jamila Perera, (MBBS, FRARGP) completed her primary medical degree in Sri Lanka in 1995, immigrating to Australia in 2008 where she completed her Fellowship in 2017.

Dr Perera is based at our Mortlake branch. Her area of special interest is Dermatology (skin conditions).

Dr Perera speaks fluent English and also Sinhalese.

Anita completed a Bachelor of Nursing in 2006. She worked in general nursing at the Terang Hospital before completing her Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education in 2013.

Since then she has worked in Diabetes education in both the public and private hospital system before settling into private practice in 2016.

Anita specialises in all facets of diabetes management including Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes, diabetes technology, insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring.

Tara qualified as a nurse in 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Nursing, a Certificate IV in Health, and a Nurse Immunisation Certificate. She later trained in cosmetic nursing and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) therapy.

Tara founded her cosmetic business in 2019, and now offers anti-wrinkle, volumizing and anti-aging treatments, including PRP Facial Rejuvenation, and PRP Hair Replacement therapy.

Tara consults at King Street Medical Clinic each Saturday by appointment.
